Onslaught is a tower defense game, with an odd twist. You can upgrade the elements you want for turrets, such as range, rate of fire and damage. There are four turrets, laser, tazer, cannon, and rocket. Turrets also have extra effects, such as lasers can connect their beams (also called chaining) to do more damage, and cannons having a amount of time where they "freak-out" and shoot much faster, and do more damage. The best part is that turrets can combine their attacks to shoot a combination of them. A rocket with two cannons will shoot a nuke, two cannons will shoot a land mine. There are also turret modifiers, which will upgrade stats further, sometimes in exchange for others.
Onslaught is updated frequently with new features. Currently, there is no sound, but will be added when it is done and tested. There are many maps, even a map editor so you can make your own maps. The characters may look, well, bad, but the gameplay is more important. The levels will be easy in the beginning, but that is only for you to build up your basic defense. At later levels, you will see levels getting harder, faster. One upgraded turret will last you many waves in the beggining, but turrets become ineffective by themselves in later levels, and combinations will become much more important. Play Onslaught.
